HIGHLIGHT: FROM IDEAS TO ACTION: PROGRESS OF THE TRAINING PROGRAMME
Since our inspiring kick-off in Sofia, the partnership has been actively working on the development of the Training Programme and Educator’s Manual, transforming ideas into practical learning tools for the social care sector.
Over the past months (December–May), partners have collaborated intensively to design a comprehensive capacity-building programme that brings arts, culture, and creativity into social care practice.
Meeting in Lithuania: Reviewing, Planning and Creating Together
Our next transnational meeting brought the partners together in Lithuania, where we took the time to review the progress made so far and evaluate the work completed since our kick-off meeting in Sofia.
During the meeting, we reviewed the overall progress, distributed upcoming tasks and responsibilities, and discussed the content and structure of the BAM-SKILLS website. We looked at what information and resources should be included to make the website useful and accessible for future learners, educators and project stakeholders.
We also focused on the next phase of the project and discussed how we will prepare for our upcoming meeting in Romania, including the tasks and materials that need to be completed beforehand.
Of course, the meeting was not all about serious discussions and deadlines! Our Lithuanian partners warmly welcomed us, and we also had the chance to enjoy some creative moments together. One of the highlights was a fun candle-making activity, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, get creative and simply enjoy being together outside the meeting room.
From focused discussions and task planning to laughter and creative activities, our time in Lithuania was a great reminder of what makes this partnership special: working seriously towards shared goals while learning, creating and connecting along the way.
What’s Next?
With the next phase of activities ahead, partners will continue developing the training materials and website while preparing for our next transnational meeting in Romania.
